From 2010 to 2013, WHW participated in the long-term collaborative project Sweet Sixties, initiated by tranzit.at (Vienna). It was an experimental, curatorial, scientific and educational research project that explored the hidden realms of the revolutionary period from the 1960s onwards viewed from contemporary artistic and theoretical perspectives. The curatorial and artistic focus was on post-ideological societies (in post-Soviet, post-socialist, Eastern European, Middle Eastern and Central Asian, as well as North African countries, and in the second phase in China and Latin America), on the comparative analysis and contextualization of historical development in the arts, culture and society of the 1960s and 70s and their influence on contemporary socio-political and cultural situations.
