Yael Davids will be researching Zagreb cultural and artistic scene. During her stay she will hold a lecture and a workshop in relation to her explorations of the Feldenkrais Method. Yael Davids employs the Feldenkrais Method in order to investigate the spatial, kinaesthetic and structural qualities of other artworks and the spectator&#8217;s own bodily relation to such works as well as the spaces in which they are encountered. She uses it as a research device for comprehending the inner-workings of structures and prevailing tendencies \u2014 bodily, institutionally, artistically.<\/p>\n<p>Within the series of public events Evenings with WHW Akademija Yael Davids will present her understanding of the Feldenkrais Method and its possibilities. In her work, Davids focuses on learning conditions and duties of care, and addresses questions such as: How can we reform the prevailing trope of learning as being a competitive, mentally demanding experience?
